Quick answers to common questions.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency plumbing service?
Yes. We answer emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across Innisfil, Barrie, and Simcoe County. For burst pipes, sewer backups, or flooding, call us immediately at (705) 791-3700. A real person picks up — no answering service.
What areas do you serve?
Our core service area covers Innisfil, Barrie, Orillia, Bradford, Newmarket, Alliston, Angus, Cookstown, Stroud, Midhurst, Oro-Medonte, and Bradford West Gwillimbury. If you're outside this area, call us anyway — we can often help or refer you to a trusted plumber who can.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are fully licensed Ontario plumbers, WSIB-compliant, and carry $2 million in liability insurance. All work meets the Ontario Building Code. We can provide certificates of insurance and license verification on request.
How quickly can you get to me?
For non-emergency service in our core area (Innisfil, Barrie, Stroud), we typically arrive within 4–24 hours. Outer service areas may be next-day. Emergencies are dispatched immediately.
What does a typical service call cost?
Pricing depends on the specific job. We provide upfront, fixed-price quotes before any work begins — you'll know the cost before we open the toolbag. Our standard service call (diagnosis and basic repair) starts in the $150–$300 range. Larger installations are quoted job-by-job.
Do you charge a diagnostic fee?
We charge a service call fee for the trip and diagnosis. If you proceed with the recommended repair, the diagnostic fee is typically rolled into the job cost. If you decide not to proceed, the diagnostic fee covers our time and travel.
Do you offer financing?
Yes — financing is available on qualifying installations like water heaters, water softeners, water filtration, sewer line replacement, and bathroom renovations. We work with multiple lenders; promotional rates (often 0% for 6–18 months) are common. See our financing page for details.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, e-transfer, debit, and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX). Payment is due upon completion of work unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Do you offer a workmanship warranty?
Yes. Every job is backed by our one-year workmanship warranty. Equipment we install (water heaters, softeners, pumps, fixtures) carries the manufacturer warranty in addition to our workmanship coverage. If something we did fails because of our work, we come back and fix it — no arguments, no charge.
What brands do you install?
We install equipment from major manufacturers including Bradford White, Rinnai, Navien (water heaters), Kinetico, Culligan, Novo, WaterMax, EcoWater (softeners and filtration), Goulds, Liberty, Zoeller (sump and well pumps), and Moen, Delta, Kohler, American Standard (fixtures). We're brand-agnostic — we'll recommend what fits your home and your budget, not whatever's on the truck.
Will my house be a mess after you leave?
No. We protect floors with drop cloths, contain work areas, dispose of old equipment and packaging, and clean up before leaving. If a job leaves the area cleaner than we found it, we've done it right.
Will you pull permits?
Yes, where required. Major installations like backwater valves, water heater replacements (where local code requires), and sewer line work typically need permits. We obtain them on your behalf and coordinate the inspection. Permit and inspection fees are itemized on your quote.
Can you work on cottages and seasonal properties?
Yes. We're experienced with cottage plumbing on Lake Simcoe (Innisfil, Oro-Medonte, Orillia, Stroud) and surrounding waterways. Spring opening, winter closing, frozen-pipe inspections, supply-line replacements, and septic-related plumbing are all common for us.
Do you work on commercial properties?
Yes. We handle commercial plumbing for restaurants, retail, small offices, light industrial, and multi-unit residential. For larger commercial projects, contact us to discuss scope before booking.
What should I do while waiting for a plumber in an emergency?
For most emergencies: locate your main water shut-off valve (usually in the basement near the front of the house) and turn it off. This stops the flow at the source. For sewer backups, stop using all drains in the house. For a gas water heater that's making unusual sounds or smelling like gas, leave the building immediately and call 911 + your gas utility. Then call us.
Can I get a quote over the phone?
We can give you a rough range for common jobs (replacing a toilet, basic drain cleaning, faucet repair, water heater swap). For anything more involved, we need to see it — accurate quotes require eyes on the job. Phone estimates are approximate; on-site quotes are firm.
How do I prepare for a service appointment?
Make sure we can access the work area — clear out from under the sink, move stored items in the basement, secure pets in another room. Have someone over 18 on site to authorize the work and answer questions. That's it.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. Our one-year workmanship warranty covers the labour portion of every job. Equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty (which we register on your behalf at install). For anything you're not happy with, call us — we don't leave jobs unfinished.
Have a question we didn't answer?
Call us. A real person picks up — no menu tree, no callback-tomorrow.
