Faucet repair
A leaky faucet is the most common plumbing issue — and one of the most fixable. Most repairs are:
- Cartridge replacement — single-handle faucets typically use a cartridge that fails after 5–10 years
- O-ring or seal replacement — fixes leaks at the spout-to-base joint
- Aerator cleaning or replacement — low flow at the tap is often just a clogged aerator
- Compression valve repair — older two-handle faucets with separate hot/cold valves
Most faucet repairs take 30–60 minutes once we have the right part. We carry common cartridges (Moen, Delta, Kohler, American Standard) on the truck.
When to replace instead of repair
- Faucet is older than 15 years and starting to corrode
- Multiple components have failed in the past year
- Replacement parts are no longer available for the model
- Finish is degraded, base is corroded
- Style update is part of a renovation
Faucet installation
We install kitchen, bathroom, laundry, outdoor, and specialty faucets. Common installs include:
- Pull-down kitchen faucets — most popular kitchen style; we’ll size to your sink configuration
- Bridge and gooseneck kitchen faucets — for renovation aesthetics; check sink hole spacing
- Single and three-hole bathroom faucets — match the sink configuration
- Wall-mount faucets — require valves roughed into the wall
- Pot fillers — over-stove articulating faucets
- Bidet faucets and sprayers
- Outdoor hose bibs and frost-free silcocks
What’s included
- Removal of old faucet (including stuck mounting nuts — we have the basin wrench and patience)
- New shut-off valves under the sink if existing are stiff or leaking
- New flexible supply lines
- New mounting hardware
- Plumber’s putty or silicone seal as appropriate
- Aerator install, leak test, full flow test
- Haul away the old fixture
Brands we install
We’re brand-agnostic. We install Moen, Delta, Kohler, American Standard, Pfister, Brizo, Hansgrohe, Riobel, and most other quality brands. Whatever you buy, we install — or we can recommend options if you’d like input.
