Burst pipe / flooding
Find your main water shut-off valve (usually basement, front of house, on the supply line) and turn it clockwise to off. This stops the flow at the source.
Sewer backup
Stop using all drains, toilets, showers, and the washing machine immediately. Every flush makes it worse. Keep kids and pets out of the affected area.
No hot water
If your water heater is leaking water, shut off its water supply (cold-water inlet, top of tank) and turn off the gas or breaker. Then call us.
Smell gas?
Leave the building immediately. Don't flip switches, don't use phones inside. Once outside, call 911 and your gas utility (Enbridge: 1-866-763-5427). Then call us once it's safe.
